Monday: "Drawing into Painting" Workshop.

Check in and introduction to tutor and each other. We will look at ways to produce effective drawings as a first step in the painting process. Let's really draw! After lunch individual work with one to one attention from Jeremy.

Tuesday: "Colour Palettes" Workshop

Let's look at how we can use colour to create strong expressive, lyrical images. The possibilities are endless! Break for lunch followed by continued individual work and group discussion. Experimenting with the boundless possibilities opened up by the effective use of colour.

Wednesday: Tone Workshop

We will go through some exercises to make us more aware of the importance of tonal values in painting. This can save you from years of misery! After lunch individual work as always with plenty of one to one tuition from Jeremy.

Thursday: Copying Workshop

Here we will examine the age old route of copying the works of great painters. Feel your way along the path trodden by the masters such as Picasso. Break for lunch and continued workshop.

Friday: Final Workshop

During the course of the week themes will always arise within the group that are of particular interest. This session is open so that we can look at something of special interest to members of the group. This is a chance to have an overview of the week's progress. Let's celebrate each other's successes and value our differences.
